CAN YOU KEEP A PROMISE THIS 2023?

As we start the year 2023 and reflecting on our lessons in 2022, our priorities have been streamlined to resonate with our strategic direction for the next five years.

We hope to see a 2023 where our biodiversity and climate goals are financed and implemented to bring back nature and build resilience for our people! We will therefore continue working with our partners to promote investments that ensure sustainable management of landscapes.

Furthermore, we will:

•collaborate to promote the landscape approach

•increase local community participation in sustainable management of natural capital

•promote human-wildlife coexistence.

•support youths as well as corporate innovations on climate action and sustainability.

•support scaling-up sustainable renewable energy options available to all

•catalyze green finance solutions and green bankable projects

•promote enabling policy and finance conditions for sustainability at the community and national level.

WWF Zambia wishes all its members of staff and partners a new year full of growth, progress, and exciting opportunities!
