BENGO Forest Landscape Restoration project - Best practices Brochures
© WWF Zambia
The forest resources found in the Aberdares Mountains of Kenya, the coastal regions and miombo forests of the Ruvuma Landscape in Tanzania, and the dry forests of the Silowana Complex in Zambia are continuously declining.
This presents a large problem in the region as the biodiversity, ecosystem services and sustainable development opportunities for the population are threatened. The BENGO FLR Project is happy to share information on FLR best practices that have been implemented by WWF and partners in the landscapes in Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia over the past 20 years in effort to mitigate the threat of forest degradation and loss.
