What motivated you to join WWF?

WWF’s mission to stop the degradation of the planet, has changed a number of lives. It also integrates the planet and human life. This is something that I believe in, and I felt this is where I can thrive and contribute.

What environmental issue would you like to be part of addressing?

Climate Change. It is affecting a number of lives. I have seen increases in temperature, people seem to be taking natural resources for granted which could result in global warming. Climate change affects all areas of someone’s life, their health and the economy. It is a big issue that really needs to be addressed.

What excites you the most about this Internship?

An opportunity to interact with different organizations and people from different cultures.

What role can your generation play in making the world a better place?

I feel that we need to change our lifestyles from unsustainable to sustainable ones. We need to have it in our minds that whatever actions we do, be it our sources of energy or the food we eat – affects the environment, whether positively or negatively.
