Norman Rigava

Conservation Manager

Norman has worked for over 25 years in various capacities in middle and senior management positions, in conservation and development programmes.  He has a strong  track record of achieving conservation results with long experience working  both Government and international NGOs  in Southern, West, Central and East Africa . His geographical experience also includes Zambia where he worked with stakeholders on Wildlife Management, Community Based Natural Resources Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and natural resource policy reform and development issues.

Norman joined WWF Zambia from within the Panda family, WWF Regional Office for Africa, and was based at WWF Uganda. Prior to joining WWF, he was the Coordinator for the African Rift Lakes Priority Place, a position he held since June 2014. Before that, he was employed by Fauna & Flora International, UK, as a Technical Advisor  for a landscape level integrated conservation and development programme in Cameroon.
