Thomas Mugala

Senior Advisor - Results Based Management and Operations Development

Thomas has worked for over 18 years in various capacities in the NGO sector. Prior to joining WWF, he worked at Tetra Tech Inc. as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist on the Millennium Challenge Account Project. Thomas previously worked for Expanded Church Response (ECR), a local NGO as Director – M&E/Government Liaison on a USAID-funded project.

Thomas has also worked with Oxfam Zambia as Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator. In other roles, he worked with FHI360, Christian Aid, and Catholic Relief Services.

He brings with him a great wealth of experience in development work and has a sound understanding of monitoring and evaluation as well as organizational development work.

Thomas’ professional education background is a combination of Management Information Systems and Project Management. He is currently pursuing a Masters programme in Public Health – Strategic information and M&E with the University of Roehampton, London.
